Under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Imran Jamal Hassan, and a number of deans of the faculties, the university held an awareness lecture on “Mental and Psychological Preparation for Football Players” for the administrative and technical staff and the players of the Al-Talaba Sports Club within its training camp currently being held in Kirkuk Governorate. The lecture presented by Dr. Mateen included Suleiman Saleh, identifying the most important components of the mental and psychological ability of players, theoretical guidance during training, and methods of psychological preparation for athletes, as well as attention to the process of warming up, and organizing mental preparation after training. The city of Kirkuk, hosted by the university, in preparation for the next football league competitions.
