The College of Agriculture discussed a doctoral thesis tagged "the effect of local and Egyptian palm pollen with Indian ginger powder and vitamin E on growth characteristics, some cellular blood parameters, antioxidant status and intestinal flora of Rose 308 broilers". Shanoun conducted two experiments for the purpose of knowing the effect of using Iraqi palm pollen compared to Egyptian, Indian ginger and vitamin E, on growth characteristics, some cellular blood parameters, antioxidant status and intestinal flora of rose type 308 broilers. , led to a significant improvement in the studied traits. The study recommended using Iraqi palm pollen at the level of 2 kg/ton in broiler feed because of its positive effect on productive and physiological traits.
