The College of Veterinary Medicine, in cooperation with the Department of Relations and Information, the Community Police Department in Kirkuk, organized a discussion session on the phenomenon of electronic extortion of its various types, in the presence of a number of teachers and affiliates. Through social media and its aggravation in society, and what are its causes, repercussions, and ways to immunize society from this dangerous phenomenon that threatens societal security and civil peace through social media, in addition to a lecture given by Major Ahmed Nemat Amin, which included how to avoid falling prey to electronic blackmail, and the mechanism of action if it occurred. In the trap of electronic extortion, and what are the negative social and psychological effects caused by electronic extortion. The episode recommended the need to reduce the phenomenon of electronic extortion through educating the community, especially our students, by educating them and educating them and explaining the correct ways to deal with these blackmailers and resort to the community police and file a complaint against them.
