Kirkuk University organizes a scientific symposium on hemorrhagic fever and its seriousness.

Under the patronage of the esteemed President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the esteemed Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed, the Department of Animal Production organized its fourteenth scientific symposium on hemorrhagic fever disease, in the presence and participation of representatives of the relevant agricultural departments, two teachers, and graduate students. And the priority.

The symposium included a lecture by Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Abdul Razzaq Aboud Al-Saadi, in which he explained the history of the emergence of the disease in Iraq, the cause, symptoms, methods of transmission of the disease, and methods of preventing this disease.

The symposium aimed to spread health awareness in academic circles that have a direct and effective impact on society and the close relationship between the scientific disciplines in the Animal Production Department as it is the most important link between the animal producer and the consumer and the high rates of infection with this dangerous and deadly disease.

The symposium recommended "increasing health control at the borders, preventing slaughter outside approved slaughterhouses, holding educational seminars for breeders about the disease, and conducting field visits to breeding fields and butcher shops to ensure they are free of the disease."
