College Dean's Speech
College Dean's Speech The College of Veterinary Medicine at Kirkuk University is a relatively new institution, established during the 2013–2014 academic year under very challenging circumstances. Nevertheless, it has made significant academic strides, catching up with established veterinary colleges at other Iraqi universities in terms of community service. It continues to strive to keep pace with scientific and technical advancements in order to enhance the caliber of the veterinarians graduating from the college.

The College of Veterinary Medicine at Kirkuk University was established in the academic year 2013-2014. The goal of its establishment was to prepare specialized scientific staff in veterinary medicine who contribute to preventing animals from diseases, diagnosing diseases when they occur, and treating them in order to preserve and develop livestock and increase its productive efficiency. These specialized staff will have a future role in serving the community in the fields of public health related to combating zoonotic diseases that are transmitted from animals to humans through food.
