Under the direction of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Shahad Abbas Al-Attar, a workshop titled "Implementing Personal Laboratory Safety Standards" was organized, attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and college staff. The workshop featured a lecture delivered by Ms. Hind Kamil and Ms. Shah Miran Hussein, covering preventive measures to minimize accidents and occupational illnesses in laboratories. The session employed an interactive approach—moving away from traditional rote learning—to foster a distinguished professional mindset equipped with the necessary expertise and protocols for laboratory work. The workshop aimed to enhance preventive awareness and professional competence among laboratory personnel, as well as to address effective incident and emergency response and waste management to prevent environmental contamination
