Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, the Women's Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit, organized a workshop entitled "Women and Climate Change: Towards Environmental Awareness and Sustainable Conservation," with the participation of faculty members and students. The workshop included the distribution of awareness brochures and a lecture by Lecturer Hanaa Ihsan, who addressed the important role of women in society as the primary driver of household consumption through their adoption of sound environmental behaviors that contribute significantly to the development of society and the upbringing of future generations. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of rationalizing consumption by reducing water and energy waste in homes, supporting local products, and spreading a culture of preserving natural resources and reducing environmental pollution.
