Veterinary medicine organizes a field visit to fish ponds

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Shahd Abbas Al-Attar, a field trip was organized to fish farms in Kirkuk Governorate, with the participation of faculty members and students.

This visit was part of the college's summer program for students. The students visited the fish farms to observe the various stages of fish farming, from small to medium-sized fish, and finally to large fish ready for market.

The visit aimed to raise student awareness and guide fish farmers on essential aspects of fish farming, including how to manage different ages and weights, proper water drainage, ammonia level measurement, and the importance of continuous oxygenation to ensure fish health.
