The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kirkuk held a workshop on the Iraqi classification, a step to obtain programmatic accreditation through the form (06), with the participation of a number of teachers and associates.The workshop aimed to identify the criteria and indicators of the national classification form for Iraqi universities, and accurate knowledge of the criteria and indicators of the form and the application of its paragraphs certainly leads to ensuring the desired results to raise the level of performance of scientific departments and obtain advanced ranks for competition between the corresponding departments of Iraqi universities.

The College of Basic Education at the University of Kirkuk organized a workshop on the national classification project for universities, with the participation of the dean and faculty members.The workshop included two axes, the first axis in which Prof. Dr. Diaa Sarhan Al-Azzawi touched on how to write a self-assessment report for programmatic accreditation through the Iraqi classification form (06), and the lecturer Dalia Badie Omar, in the second axis how to write a conformity report with standards and indicators and the national classification form for Iraqi universities.The workshop recommended the need to implement the self-evaluation paragraphs to ensure obtaining programmatic accreditation for the scientific departments, as well as preparing the Iraqi classification files before opening the electronic system intended for evaluating the scientific departments.
