The Faculty of Agriculture discussed a master’s thesis studying the effect of spraying with extracts of morinca leaves and garlic cloves on some growth characteristics and yield of fig trees, by Sarah Khaled Hamid, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Ali Mohieldin Omar. The thesis aimed to study the effect of foliar spraying with morinca leaf extracts at three levels ( 0, 2, and 4 milliliters) and garlic cloves at three levels (0, 10 and 20 milliliters) in some growth characteristics and yield of fig trees. Ficus carica L, Khalo Baziani cultivar, as the trees were sprayed with both factors in three batches, with a difference of (20) days between one spray and another for each unit. Experimental, and a factorial experiment was carried out within a randomized complete block design (R.C.B.D) with three replications and one tree for each experimental unit. The study concluded, that foliar spraying with both extracts of morinca leaves and garlic cloves significantly affected most of the studied traits.
