The College of Agriculture discussed a master’s thesis entitled: The Effect of Selenium and Brassinolide on the Growth and Yield of Two Hybrids of Broccoli Brassica Oleracea Var italica, by student Najah Muhammad Shukr, under the supervision of Prof. Omar Hashem Mosleh. The experiment included knowing the effect of spraying with selenium at concentrations (20, 30, 40 mg). Liter-1) and spraying with brassinolide at concentrations (50, 100, 150 mg L) in the growth and yield of two hybrids of broccoli (Parasio, Jassmine F1). 20 days after the first spray. The study was carried out according to the Split Plot Desigen system within the design of randomized complete sectors R.C.B.D. The study concluded, there is a significant effect of spraying with selenium and prasinolide in the two hybrids of broccoli in most of the studied traits and that the hybrid (Jassmine) is significantly superior in most of the studied traits.
