The College of Arts, in cooperation with the BRC Scientific and Humanitarian Foundation, organized a scientific symposium on the phenomenon of solar eclipses, with the participation of specialized researchers. The symposium included giving several lectures, the first was the Dean of the College, Prof. Omar Negmeddine Inge, which dealt with the eclipse phenomenon from a religious concept, and the second lecture by Dr. Raad Jalal, entitled Solar Eclipse, an Astronomical Phenomenon, and a lecture by Dr. Ilham Bakhoush, a teaching staff member at the University of Tebessa in Algeria, in which she explained The phenomenon of the solar eclipse and its effects on the environment and humans, as well as a lecture by the President of the BRC Scientific and Humanitarian Foundation, Dr. Methaq Bayat Al-Dhaifi. The researchers called in the scientific symposium to reduce the abnormal fears circulated by social media platforms and turn to the reports of specialists and those concerned with these phenomena from the agencies of space sciences. , and religious scholars, as well as health institutions, to inquire about the risks associated with these phenomena.
