The College of Education for Human Sciences discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Jurisprudence Controls and Their Applications from the book Minhaj al-Talibin of Imam al-Nawawi (676 AH) Personal Status Department” by student Huda Muhammad Ali Kazem and supervised by Prof. Dr. Younis Thaleb Salih. The study aimed to clarify the jurisprudential controls related to personal status from Minhaj The two students of Imam Al-Nawawi, may God have mercy on him, and the importance of these controls in determining the relationship between spouses and the symptoms that occur to it that need to correct the course of marital relations, and an explanation of the Islamic social method in solving the problems faced by married life. The study concluded that there are a number of jurisprudential controls that determine marital relations according The Islamic perspective, in a manner that preserves the family’s entity, and finds legitimate ways out of family problems in a manner that preserves the rights of spouses and children of stable and correct relations with parents without oppression or transgression by either party.
