A master’s thesis in the College of Law and Political Science discussed the criminal responsibility for the outbreak of infectious diseases by student Mustafa Yagmore Muhammad, and supervised by Dr. Ibrahim Shaker Mahmoud. The thesis aimed at clarifying the concept of infectious diseases, how they are transmitted, how to limit the spread of these diseases, and the effects that they have on the economic and family level on the level The letter indicated that the Iraqi legislator divided infectious diseases into three groups, each group having special procedures appropriate to the seriousness of the infectious disease, based on Article (45) of the Law Public Health No. (81) for the year 1989. The researcher recommended the need to build a health-conscious society through awareness and guidance programs on television and social media programs on how to prevent infectious diseases, and stating penalties for those who violate the instructions issued by the state, and calling on the Iraqi legislator to legislate a law Special regulates infectious diseases, and not left within the general rules.
