Associate Dean of the College of Law and Political Science for Scientific Affairs at the University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Murad Saeb Mahmoud, participated in the committee for discussing the doctoral thesis titled "Corporate Integration in Private International Law / Comparative Analytical Study". The PhD thesis defended by student Ahmed Sabah Ghadeer, at the Faculty of Law at the University of Mosul

Dr. Mahmoud stated that "the thesis dealt with issue of merger of transnational companies and its challenges regarding the legal system to which the merger contract per se is subject, as well as the subsequent contracts concluded by the company resulting from the cross-border merger."

He added "The researcher recommended the necessity of a legislative organization at a regional and international level through which issues related to corporate mergers are regulated, and the necessity of amending some legislative texts in the Iraqi civil law, which contributes to building a developed country and facilitates the work of integration in the service of our beloved country."
