Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, the Department of Soil and Water Resources organized a training course on preserving, isolating, and developing microorganisms in their natural environment, in the presence and participation of the Dean of the College and graduate students, And representatives of agricultural departments.

The course included a lecture by Dr. Kawther Hakeem Ibrahim, in which she explained that the aim of organizing this course in isolating and preserving microorganisms in their natural environment is to enable participants in the course to acquire the necessary skills to isolate microorganisms effectively from various samples and preserve them in different ways. Suitable for maintaining its integrity and using it for various purposes such as scientific research, medical diagnosis, food and environmental industries.
