An awareness seminar at the College of Agriculture about homosexuality and transgenderism

Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed, the Women’s Empowerment Unit was organized, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling Unit, the Continuing Education Division, the Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an Foundation, and the Office of the Minister of the Interior/Department of Relations and Information/Department Community Police/Kirkuk Division, an awareness seminar on the role of educational institutions in confronting the homosexuality phenomenon, in the presence of the dean of the college, the teaching staff, and college employees.

 

The symposium aimed to highlight the role of educational institutions in confronting the phenomenon of bisexuality, which has spread widely in recent times, by educating university students about the seriousness of this phenomenon and the opinion of Sharia law on it.

The symposium included two lectures, the first lecture by Professor Imdad Saleh Colmes, a researcher and lecturer on Qur’anic miracles and a member of the Kirkuk Center for Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an, presented a definition of bisexuality from the perspective of science and human values, while the second lecture by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Hala Mahmoud Al-Obaidi from the Office of the Minister of the Interior/Department of Relations emphasized And the media/Community Police Department/Kirkuk Division, on the concept of bisexuality from a legal standpoint.

The symposium recommended the necessity of submitting a request to the Federal Court to amend the legislation of the bisexuality law, and urging the media and all educational institutions to educate school and university students by holding seminars, workshops, and awareness lectures, which in turn limit the spread of this phenomenon.
