A research team consisting of Asst. Lect. Yaseen Obaid Noori Ahmed Sharif from the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Hindi Al-Bayati, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dawood Salman Madab Al-Obaidi from the College of Agriculture, University of Tikrit, published a scientific research in the British journal IOP Conf. Series: Earth and Environmental Science, classified within Scopus Q3 containers.
The research team explained that the study dealt with estimating genetic parameters and path analysis for several varieties of white corn in different environments (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench).
They indicated that the study aimed to estimate the components of phenotypic variation and genetic parameters and to show the relationship of genetic, environmental and phenotypic correlation between the studied traits and dry fodder yield and path analysis to determine the direct and indirect effects to determine the most influential traits in the trait of dry fodder yield, which are indicators for selecting distinguished varieties.
