E-learning

E-learning is a system of education centered on official education but is regarded as e-learning with the help of electronic tools. Although education can be centered in or out of schools, the key aspect of e-learning is the use of technology and the Internet. E-learning may often be referred to as a network that enables expertise and information to be transferred, and instruction is provided to a wide range of recipients at the same or different times. Previously, it was not completely embraced as it was believed that this system lacked the requisite human element for learning.

With the exponential development of technologies and the improvement of learning methods, however, the people are now adopting it. The invention of machines was the foundation of this movement, and with the passing of time, these gadgets now have an important role in the learning classrooms when we get hooked on laptops, tablets, etc. Electronic instructional products, such as optical disks or pen drives, are increasingly replacing books. It is also possible to exchange information via the Internet, which is open 24/7, wherever, whenever.

Research

At University of Kirkuk, our passionate mission is to broaden the limits of expertise and feasibility and we honor deep insights and functional developments alike. As educators, we also appreciate learning as an influential way of education.

Research is growing in our 58 departments throughout 18 colleges, including in many laboratories, workshops, and projects that bring together scholars around disciplines to identify various conceptual frontiers and solve critical social problems.

With the activities of the College of Science Laboratories, various Civil Engineering Laboratories, and computer science facilities, our on-campus research resources are expanded. The Libraries of University of Kirkuk serve as a powerful partner in this function and as a foundation of substantial studies in their own right.
