The health unit at the Department of internal departments affairs at the University of Kirkuk, in coordination with the Kirkuk health department, organized an awareness workshop on early detection of breast cancer for female students of internal departments at the University of Kirkuk

Health Trainer Sahar Mahdi Jabara explained the importance of early screening and its role in increasing the recovery rate among breast cancer patients.

The workshop focused on the importance of early diagnosis through self-examination when any of the symptoms and signs appear in order to receive the necessary treatment and ensure the possibility of recovery from the disease.

It is worth mentioning that awareness brochures have been distributed to students on the subject.
