Kirkuk University hosted the technical meeting for the University Fine Arts Festival for Iraqi Universities on Sunday evening, November 2, 2025. The festival is organized by the Student Activities Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Dr. Ibrahim Bahram Khurshid, Director of the Student Activities Department, stated, "The festival is launching from the city of Kirkuk, with the participation of Kirkuk University and 42 public and private universities, who will present their works over four days, from November 3 to 6. These participating universities represent most of the governorates of Iraq."
