The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at Kirkuk University organized a scientific seminar entitled "Achieving University Goals and Elevating its Ranking in Global Classifications," with the participation of college deans.
The seminar aimed to introduce the global rankings in which Kirkuk University has entered, the positions it has advanced in, and the mechanisms for improving the university to achieve higher rankings, reach global competitiveness, and enable its inclusion in the QS World University Rankings. It also provided a detailed explanation of each type of ranking, highlighting the commonalities and differences between them.
On the sidelines of the seminar, the President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, honored the committee overseeing the university's entry into the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for the first time, placing it among 25 Iraqi universities and 2,191 institutions from 115 countries worldwide.
