To support development and digital transformation, Kirkuk University launches its first conference on economic, administrative, and financial sciences.

With the participation of the University President, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, the International Scientific Conference "Informatics, Digitization, and Their Impact on Sustainable Development" was launched at the University of Kirkuk. The conference was organized by the College of Administration and Economics in cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq/Mosul Branch. The University President emphasized the pioneering role of the University of Kirkuk in achieving a qualitative leap in higher education, supplying the Iraqi market with solid competencies, providing academic spaces and a solid scientific environment for students, and striving for digital transformation and generative artificial intelligence, moving forward towards a creative digital environment to achieve comprehensive sustainable development. Participants will discuss six topics, including enhancing growth and productivity through digitization, digital transformation in research and statistics, supporting sustainable development in Iraq, modern accounting and financial trends, the use of artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship, and the role of the Central Bank in combating money laundering.
