The research of the Higher Diploma in human rights at the Faculty of law and political science at the University of Kirkuk discussed: the responsibility of the administrative authority to protect children from homelessness.

The aim of the research presented by researcher Amna Jabbar Saleh was to identify the negative effects and their aggravation in society resulting from the displacement of children and to find solutions and treatments for the phenomenon of homelessness through preventive methods and then therapeutic methods to eliminate this phenomenon.

The research concluded that homelessness is a social phenomenon that occurs as a result of parental neglect or social problems arising from family disintegration, security or psychological problems, or the behavior of the child himself.
