The study focused on the analysis of the hybrid "IK58 x ZP197" and its results showed superiority in most of the studied traits, as it turned out that the percentage of inheritance in the broad and narrow sense was high in all the studied traits, and the expected genetic improvement was high in traits such as the number of rows in the locust, the number of grains in a row, the weight of 300 grains, and the grain yield.
