On the sidelines of the General Conference of the Federation of Arab Universities, the Arab Universities signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement with the University of Kirkuk. The President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Imran Jamal Hassan, said: "The agreements will open new avenues for developing cultural and scientific relations with Arab universities and transform scientific agreements into a real working paper on the ground, contributing to the exchange of ideas and insights between universities and the exchange of available experiences. The agreements signed included, inter alia, exchanges of experiences and lectures according to the period specified by the respective configurations, joint research according to research requirements, as well as exchanges of books, publications, dissertations, scientific periodicals and research findings in scientific fields and in languages that serve all parties. He concluded the signing of agreements by exchanging shields between universities, stressing the activation of these agreements with provisions to provide the best services.
