The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Kirkuk held a festival for engineering innovations entitled "The Second Kirkuk Technology Festival" in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Chalank Akram Omar, and a number of deans of faculties, faculty members, and students, and with the participation of a number of Iraqi universities. Dr. Chalank Akram emphasized the importance of the festival and its engineering and scientific role in developing students' research capabilities, refining their skills, encouraging them to work to enhance research and creativity values, and providing opportunities for scientific competition.The festival included the presentation of about 100 engineering projects of various innovations and devices that were set up and invented by the college students under the supervision of specialized teachers, as well as an exhibition of plastic arts and paintings.
