The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kirkuk held a workshop on publishing scientific research in international journals with the participation of a number of teachers. The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mustafa Raji Ayed, said that the workshop aimed to develop the reality of scientific research, find solutions to its obstacles, and ways to advance, consolidate, and improve the quality of published research, with an emphasis on raising the values of the Hirsch coefficient H-index for each teacher. The workshop emphasized the need to develop and increase the number of published research articles, consolidate their quality, and work to increase the number of research articles published in international collections.
