The Kirkuk Center for the Iraqi Board of the College of Medicine at the University of Kirkuk discussed the graduation research titled "nephropathy caused by the dye used in emergency catheterization for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction."The study, presented by student Mahmoud Ahmed Salih, aims to calculate the prevalence of nephropathy caused by the dye used in emergency catheterization to treat acute myocardial infarction and to evaluate the risk factors leading to acute nephropathy. The study concluded that the incidence of dye-induced nephropathy in acute coronary syndrome patients after the initial percutaneous coronary intervention in the city of Kirkuk is relatively high.
