The instructor at the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Hamad Adham, participated in the second Iraq conference under the slogan "Raising Awareness of Biological Hazards", which was set up by the National Committee for Biological Risk Management, with the participation of the Iraqi Ministry of Health and in coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Committee and Sandia American Laboratories in Erbil Governorate. Al-Taridi stated that the participation included presenting a research paper entitled “laboratory safety measures in light of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic” by paying attention to scientific laboratories, using sterile materials, wearing gloves and masks, as well as taking care of laboratory equipment. Or theft, diversion or intentional misuse, and ensuring that the preventive measures provided and the costs associated with that protection are commensurate with the expected risks, as well as emphasizing the cooperation of all relevant governmental and private sectors of society in each governorate to develop plans to confront and prevent biological risks and reduce their negative impact on society He added that the conference recommended the formation of a public body to address biological hazards affiliated with the Prime Minister's Office to coordinate with all medical professionals Raf and conclude agreements and cooperation between Iraq and neighboring countries and Arab, regional and global countries and benefit from the experiences of others to develop individual skills in this field, as well as coordination between the Iraqi governorates and holding seminars, festivals and scientific awareness conferences.
