Latest postgraduate research studies at agricultural research station in College of Agriculture

This year, we have diverse postgraduate projects in horticulture. Master and PhD students have worked in the agricultural research centre at our college in Sayada station either in open areas or using the green houses.
One of the project has studied the effect of mulching on growing specie of aubergine named Solanum Melongena in the green house. It also gas studied the market availability and farmers ability to grow this type of aubergine.Another study has been conducted in the same research centre to find the effect of Boron and organic fertiliser spraying in combination with Sp. Emitter type on the growth and yield of Broccoli Brassica of Oleracea Var Italica, then evaluate the effect of drip Irrigation system. This has been cultivated in open area with 600m2 land.Also another master project has studied on broad beans which cultivated on 6000m2. The study focused on testing several pesticides in different concentration and evaluate their effect on the growth and final yield.arch1
