Under the supervision of the dean of the college of Agriculture, assistant professor Dr. Osama Ibraheem Ahmed, the cadres of the station of research and agricultural experiments which is located at the university campus in Al-Syada area carried out a campaign to maintain the plastic houses for the purpose of making them ready for the researches and experiments of the students.

The college dean stated that upon the directions of the president of Kirkuk University, Dr. Sabah Ahmed Ismail, the station's cadres of research and agriculture experiments carried out a campaign for maintaining and preparing the greenhouses in the fields of the station. In addition to that, they made a new plastic house in order to increase the capacity of the station for making more postgraduate researches. The dean added that depending on the principle of the scientific cooperation between the universities, the council of the College of Agriculture has approved on performing 5 PhD researches in the station for the postgraduate students from Mosul and Tikrit universities.
