A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined the antioxidant effects of date palm pollen powder and vitamin E and their impact on productive performance, egg quality, and selected blood biochemical parameters in laying hens.
The thesis, submitted by Hawkar Naji Saber, aimed to investigate the antioxidant effects of date palm pollen powder and vitamin E and determine their effects on productive performance, egg quality, and selected blood biochemical parameters in laying hens, in order to evaluate the potential of using them individually or in combination to improve the productive efficiency and health of laying hens.
The study concluded that the addition of date palm pollen powder, either alone or in combination with vitamin E–selenium, had a significant effect on the traits evaluated in the study.
