A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined “The Effect of Different Levels of Formic Acid and Acetic Acid on Selected Productive and Physiological Traits in Laying Hens.”

The thesis, submitted by Hulya Shamil Kamil, aimed to evaluate the effects of adding formic acid and acetic acid to laying-hen diets on productive performance, egg quality characteristics, and selected physiological traits.

The study concluded that adding formic acid and acetic acid at concentrations of 0.5% and 1% to laying-hen diets resulted in improvements in the traits evaluated in the experiment.
