A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined “The Response of Olive Trees (Olea europaea L.) to Biofertilizer and Foliar Boron Application.”

The thesis, submitted by Lanja Hussein Mohammed Amin, aimed to evaluate the effect of applying biofertilizer on improving soil properties, vegetative growth, and the yield of olive trees. It also investigated the response of olive trees to foliar boron application and its effects on flowering, fruit set, and productivity.

The study further sought to determine the interaction between biofertilization and boron foliar application to achieve the highest production efficiency in olive trees.

The study concluded that the combined use of biofertilizer and foliar boron application is an effective and sustainable agricultural practice for improving olive tree growth and productivity under environmental conditions similar to those of the study area.
