A Master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, examined “The Effect of Adding Thyme, Rosemary, and Cinnamon Powders to the Diet on Growth Performance, Productive Traits, Carcass Characteristics, and Blood Biochemical Parameters in Local Lambs.”
The thesis, submitted by Hassan Hameed Mouloud, aimed to evaluate the effects of supplementing the diets of local lambs with thyme, rosemary, and cinnamon powders on growth performance, productive traits, selected blood biochemical parameters, and carcass characteristics.
The study concluded that the inclusion of thyme, rosemary, and cinnamon powders in the diets of local lambs resulted in significant improvements in the productive, physiological, and carcass traits evaluated, demonstrating the potential of these natural feed additives to enhance animal performance and productivity.
