A master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture examined some physiological traits and reproductive efficiency parameters of local Awassi ewes dosed with green tea aqueous extract combined with vitamins A and E, starting from estrus synchronization until the end of early pregnancy.
The study, presented by student Saad Abdullah Fathi Ahmed, aimed to investigate the effectiveness of green tea and vitamins A and E in improving the productive and reproductive efficiency of Awassi ewes by monitoring physiological changes in their biological system during early and mid-pregnancy.
The study concluded that dosing ewes with green tea extract at a rate of 200 mg/kg, as well as with a mixture of vitamins A and E, had a significant effect on the studied traits.
