A training course at Kirkuk University on chemical, biological and radiological security and safety.

Under the patronage of the respected President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed, the Chemical Safety and Security Unit at the College of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division and the Quality Assurance Division, organized a training course on chemical, biological and radiological safety and security, with the attendance and participation of teaching staff and postgraduate students. The course included lectures by lecturers Eng. Dhikra Ahmed Hassan, Eng. Safa Redha Shukor, Dr. Samira Fayd Allah, and Dr. Ashraf Hashem, in which they explained that the goal of organizing such courses is to enhance awareness of the dangers of chemical, biological and radiological materials and to familiarize participants with safe practices for dealing with these materials and to develop prevention and emergency response skills and understand the legal framework and international standards related to safety.
