The University Psychological Counseling Division at the College of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, the Continuing Education Division, and the Legal Division, organized an awareness seminar on family disintegration and its impact on society, with the participation of staff and students of the college.
The Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division, Assistant Lecturer Maha Ahmed Kamal, explained that the aim of the seminar was to raise awareness among young people about the dangers of family disintegration on both individuals and society, as it can lead to issues such as unemployment, divorce, and other social problems. She emphasized that Islamic values promote compassion and mercy as the foundation of a strong family.
The seminar included awareness lectures delivered by Assistant Lecturer Maha Ahmed Kamal, Assistant Lecturer Hanan Salah Mahdi, and Dr. Zikra Ahmed Hassan, who highlighted the importance of organizing such educational activities to demonstrate the role of academic institutions in guiding and supporting students.
