Two lecturers from Kirkuk University participate in a training course on Paulownia trees' role in reducing global warming

The two lecturers at the College of Agriculture, Asst. Lect. Mohammed Muntaz Ibrahim, and Asst. Lect. Umaima Abdul Samad Hassan, participated as lecturers in the training course organized by the Agricultural Guidance and Training Center in cooperation with the Kirkuk Agriculture Directorate, on the cultivation of Paulownia trees and their role in reducing global warming, with the attendance and participation of members of the relevant agricultural departments. The two lecturers explained that they demonstrated through the lectures the importance of planting Paulownia trees as they are fast-growing trees that have great environmental benefits, such as absorbing carbon, reducing temperature, improving air quality, enhancing biodiversity, and playing a vital role in combating global warming.
