The College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, organized a scientific visit for its students to Bahar Laboratory for the production of natural vinegar and distillation of herbs and herbal oils in Sulaymaniyah.
The lecturer at the college and head of the visiting delegation, Dr. Saad Abdulmajeed Wahib, explained that the aim of organizing such scientific visits to industrial and agricultural facilities is to enhance students' practical knowledge about the manufacture of natural products and the uses of herbal plants and medicinal extracts in the production of oils and vinegar.
The head of the visiting delegation added that the visit included an introductory tour inside the laboratory, where the work team provided a detailed explanation of the stages of production of natural vinegar, and the techniques of distilling herbs to extract essential oils, in addition to explaining the role of these products in promoting health and natural treatment.
