A lecturer at the College participates as a member of a PhD thesis discussion committee at the University of Duhok.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Noori, a lecturer at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, participated as a member of the committee to discuss the doctoral thesis of the student, Nafal Abdullah Musa, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Duhok. Noori explained that the thesis he discussed dealt with the study of Efficient tissue culture protocol for Magnolia grandiflora L. and detecting genetic stability of regenerated plants by genetic markers. He explained that the study aimed to propagate the magnolia plant outside the living body and study the genetic stability of the producing plants and the effect of the type of nutritional medium and several types of plant growth regulators. He added that the committee, after extensive discussion, decided to accept the thesis as part of the requirements for obtaining a doctorate degree and grant the student the certificate.
