A study conducted by researchers at the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Suzan Ali Hussein, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, and researcher Hana Aziz Bayez, was published in an international Indian scientific journal.
The researchers explained that their study examined the effect of covering the soil and spraying with a salicylic growth regulator on some vegetative growth characteristics of two varieties of young grape vines, Al-Halwani and Al-Kamali.
They added that their study concluded that the levels of coverage and spraying with the salicylic growth regulator had a significant effect on most of the studied traits of the two varieties of young grape vines, Al-Halwani and Al-Kamali.
