Kirkuk University organizes a festival for local agricultural products.

Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osama Ibrahim Ahmed, the College of Agriculture organized a festival for local agricultural products, with the participation of food products companies and laboratories, the Syndicate of Agricultural Engineers, and the Hawija Horticulture Station.

The Dean of the College explained that the aim of organizing this festival is to support the local product and to inform the consumer of the existence of a product characterized by high quality.

He added that the College of Agriculture’s pavilion at the festival included agricultural products that are the results of research projects that graduated fourth-year students in the scientific departments, including meat chickens, eggs, fish, honey, horticultural crops, and other agricultural products.
