The College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, organized a scientific visit for the students of the fourth stage, Department of Forestry Sciences, to the Dibis forests, under the supervision of the two lecturers, Asst. Lect. Muhammad Muntaz Ibrahim, Asst. Lect. Ako Ghazi Sattar and the staff working in the department, Mrs. Zainab Jamal Muhammad and Mrs. Omaima Abdel Samad Hassan.
The visit aimed to “see the trees of Paulownia trees planted in the Dibis forests, and to know the possibility of their suitability to the environment of Kirkuk Governorate, in order to begin generalizing the cultivation of this tree in the governorate within the plan of the program towards a green Kirkuk by 2030.”
