The College of Agriculture participates in an initiative to plant trees in schools and kindergartens

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, and in cooperation with the National Youth Team for Climate Change - the Supreme Council for Youth - the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, faculty members and students of the College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk participated in a campaign to plant trees in schools and kindergartens in Kirkuk Governorate. The Dean of the College explained that the campaign included planting trees in a group of schools and kindergartens in the governorate, in addition to distributing brochures and giving lectures to students, showing the importance of planting trees for humans and the environment, adding that this activity comes within the activities organized by the Student Activities Division and the Afforestation Unit in the college, in cooperation with entities that support planting campaigns.
