In implementation of the slogan launched by the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, “Towards Globalization,” the Kirkuk University Journal of Agricultural Sciences, published by the College of Agriculture, has been indexed in the Agricultural Research Database of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations.
The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Assistant Professor Dr. Osamah Ibrahim Ahmed, explained that through dedicated efforts by the college administration and the journal’s editorial staff, the Kirkuk University Journal of Agricultural Sciences has taken an important step toward international recognition by being included in the FAO’s agricultural research database (FAO – Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations). He added that the journal has been recognized as a key agricultural reference for data and agricultural research in northern Iraq.
