The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit at the College of Pharmacy, held an awareness seminar entitled (Bullying, its methods, effects, causes, and how to confront it) on Tuesday morning, 02/27/2024.
The symposium included several topics through which the two researchers, Assistant Lecturer Nagham Dahham Ibrahim and Assistant Lecturer Tayba Fares Abdel Karim, explained the nature of bullying and the methods used by the bully in exercising his bullying on others, while explaining the position of our true religion, since the shining of its sun on the universe, regarding this phenomenon, in addition to explaining the types of bullying. Various, in addition to explaining the effects and dangers of bullying on the victim in the short and long term, while highlighting the psychology of the bully and his victim. The lecture also pointed out how to confront bullying as suggested solutions, as the goal of the symposium is to weaken the phenomenon of bullying on campus and reduce it by increasing Awareness and education about it.
