The Department of Scientific Affairs was established in 2018 when the College of Pharmacy was established and aims to raise the level of scientific publishing and move towards publishing and e-learning in order to achieve a teaching and research cadre with broad scientific horizons.
Among the duties and tasks of the Department : -
- It follows the college's activities, including publishing research and holding seminars, conferences, and workshops for teachers and employees
- Follow up and facilitate the completion of academic promotions for faculty members and audit sabbatical transactions for teaching staff.
- Follow up and issue orders for external lecturers
- Supporting the scientific branches and the examination committee in issuing weekly lecture schedules, examination schedules, and examination proctoring schedules.
The Scientific Affairs Department includes:
- Studies, Planning and Follow-up Unit and the tasks of this unit:
- Updating human resources information (for employees and teachers),
- Student information system for initial study
- University and technical statistics for academic years.
