The Legal Department was established when the College of Pharmacy was established in accordance with Ministerial Order No. (C.M. 3/3/6068) on (9/6/2018) and University Order (7/27/11297 on September 30/2018) and began its first academic year (2018/ 2019) The Legal Division aims to
To achieve justice among the college’s members in accordance with the laws, regulations, and instructions. The Legal Division is responsible for providing legal protection for the college and defending it before the courts and judicial authorities.
Among the duties and tasks of the Department : -
- Organizing a form (contract) for daily wages in the college.
- Organizing and auditing the ministerial contracts form.
- Proofreading and organizing the legal guarantees form for students.
- The Legal Division participates in special investigative committees for associates and students at the college.
- Dictating, organizing and auditing the special undertakings of external lecturers in the college.
- Providing legal consultations to college branches.
- Statement of legal opinion in books related to legal affairs and other topics.
- Participation in the Student Discipline Committee formed in the college in accordance with the Instructions for Student Discipline in Institutions of Higher Education and Scientific
- Research No. 160 in 2007, in addition to participating in the State Employees Discipline Committees.
- Participation in the investigative committees formed in the college.
- Participate in the investigative committees formed by the University Presidency/Legal Affairs Department by preparing their records and submitting them to the University
- Presidency and the Ministry for the purpose of approval.
- Approval of contracts concluded by the college.
- Approval of educational guarantees and pledges inside and outside Iraq.
- Approval of loans for teaching staff and advances for employees.
- The legal representative of the college is responsible for reviewing the police stations and the competent courts in cases brought by the college against others and vice versa.
The Department is affiliated with the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs.
